Saint Cecilia School has implemented a program called "Adopt-A-Classroom,“ and we are very excited to share it with you. This program provides parents, businesses, and members of our community the opportunity to join our school family. The rising cost of supplies and equipment have forced our teachers to spend their own money on educational materials for their classrooms. The Adopt-A-Classroom program is a way to assist the teachers and enhance the education of our students.
You can help
Any business, individual, or group of individuals can sponsor or "adopt" a classroom with a donation of $500. The donor can select a specific classroom or let us choose one for you.. You can adopt as many classrooms as you wish – our goal is to have every class adopted!
How is it used?
Once a classroom is adopted, 100 percent of your donation goes into that classroom for academic enrichments. The teacher is given the opportunity to determine how best to spend the money in his or her classroom. For example, some teachers may decide to purchase computer software, books, visuals, or supplies. Others may choose to combine their money to purchase an item that can be used by a number of students.
As a thank you...
Your participation in the Adopt-A-Classroom program is very much appreciated. All sponsors will receive a thank you letter from the classroom, a sign on the classroom door, recognition in the school newsletter, and a link on the schools’ web site. We are confident that you will find the program a worthwhile investment for yourself, your organization, and most importantly, the children who benefit. If you have any questions about the program, please feel free to contact us at:
